Request For Electronic Communication

General Information: Texas Property Tax Code Section 1.086 allows the owner of a residential property that is occupied by the owner as the owner’s principal residence to request that the below notices be sent by Email:

  • a change in value of the property
  • the eligibility of the property for an exemption
  • the grant, denial, cancellation, or other change in the status of an exemption or exemption application

This request only applies to your homestead.  You cannot request email notifications for any other property you may own.  We will not mail a notice to you in addition to the electronic notification.

This will remain in effect until revoked in writing by the property owner.

I understand that the appraisal district may send a confirmation email to the email address provided by me to confirm this request for electronic delivery or revocation of the same.

I understand that a chief appraiser who delivers a notice electronically under this section is not required to mail the same notice to the property owner.
